We know that not every mobile phone user has the ability to download mobile apps. While TripCase is best known as the leading mobile travel application, with today’s release of the mobile web version of TripCase optimized for mobile web browsers, we now offer access to TripCase to the millions of mobile phone users who don’t have access to mobile apps. The mobile web version of TripCase is available on mobile web browsers at http://m.tripcase.com.
The mobile web version allows travelers to add and maintain trips using a desktop browser at tripcase.com and then access all their itinerary information and trip details on their mobile web browsers. In addition, they will receive the same great free real-time messaging that we offer in our current application, including critical alerts when a flight is delayed or canceled or the gate is changed. This initial mobile web release does not allow for data entry or access to the TripCase Tools features via mobile web browser, but these will be coming later this year with the release of our advanced mobile web version of TripCase.
According to mobiThinking, 90% of mobile subscribers in the United States and Western Europe have an Internet-ready phone, making the travel benefits of TripCase now available through the mobile web to more than 500 million mobile subscribers in these markets alone.
As always, travelers using Android, iPhone or Blackberry smartphones can download the full-feature TripCase travel application for free in the respective app stores or by going to http://tripcase.com/m on their mobile phones.
