Friends, family and colleagues may need access to some or all of your travel plans for any given trip. This information may include your entire itinerary or just flight time updates, gate assignments/re-assignments or baggage claim information.

Below we outline two levels of information-sharing included within TripCase.
Connections are for people who need to know everything about your trip from A
to Z. Arrival Updates are for people who just need to know if your flight home is delayed, arriving early or if the gate changes.

Sharing your entire itinerary by designating connections

For those folks for whom you want to supply access to ALL of your itinerary and updates (say your assistant), email updates will be sent once you add them to your “Connections” in your TripCase account.

To do so, log in to, click on the Settings Tab on the top of the page,
and then go to the Connections tab within the Settings page. There you can add the email address of the person you wish to include on your travel updates. A verification message will be sent to that person’s email address. Once the recipient has verified their identity and confirmed their email address they will begin receiving your trip updates as they occur based on the access you designate to them within Settings/Connections.

Keeping your ride in the loop with arrival updates

Most of the time, chances are your loved ones don’t need your entire itinerary (meeting locations, hotel, car rental info, etc.). However, they do need to know if your flight home is delayed, arriving early or if the gate changes.

To keep them informed of your arrival, select the trip for which you want to activate notifications. Next, click on Tools and then the Arrival Updates icon and select the travel segments of your trip you want to share. You’ll then be prompted to enter an email address. Once the email address is entered, the person will begin receiving updates for the travel segments you have selected.
